'Digital is saving, not killing music' says Sony chief Edgar Berger
The global recorded music industry is on a path to recovery, according to a new report.
The turnaround is apparently being fuelled by licensed digital music services and rapid expansion into new markets internationally.
Recorded music is also helping drive a broader digital economy.
Edgar Berger, President & CEO, International, Sony Music Entertainment, said contrary to predictions, the digital revolution has saved, not killed off, music.
