CES 2013: How putting plants online keeps them healthy

Designed for green fingered newcomers and experienced gardeners alike, Parrot's Flower Power system can make plants "smart".

By monitoring sunshine, moisture and other important variants, Flower Power can notify users that a plant is in need of attention by sending a message to a smartphone.

It also gives recommendations on treatment based on a large database of gardening expertise.
