Elite: Classic 1980s game to be 'kickstarted' with sequel
It was one of the classic computer games of the 1980s, a 'space trading' simulator in which players had to transport cargo between planets.
Now the co-creator of Elite, David Braben, has announced that he is turning to crowd-funding site Kickstarter to get funding for a sequel to the influential game.
He spoke exclusively to the BBC's Rory Cellan-Jones at his Frontier games development studio in Cambridge's Science Park, where developers are already working on the project.
