4G launch: Testing the Everything Everywhere service in Manchester
The UK's first fourth generation (4G) mobile service has gone live in 11 cities.
London, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Leeds, Liverpool, Sheffield, Glasgow and Southampton gained access to network EE's 4G from Tuesday morning.
Rory Cellan-Jones tested the live service in a Manchester cafe, and talked to local technology expert Rajesh Joshi - who works for a cloud hosting service - about the benefits the service might bring.
