4G speed put to the test

Plans to bring superfast mobile phone services to the UK have now been accelerated with all the networks expected to offer 4G by next summer.

But Everything Everywhere, now known as EE, will launch early, probably in the next few weeks.

So how much faster will the service be - and how does it compare with 3G?

Rory Cellan-Jones tested EE's 4G on two of the latest smartphones.
