Audio slideshow: When art and tech collide

When your business is a mere 48 hours old, you are not expected to have a business card - which is why most of the networking at the Art Meets Tech exhibition at east London's Whitechapel Gallery came by way of email addresses scribbled enthusiastically onto scraps of paper.

The event's organisers, 3 Beards, brought together more than 50 coders, hackers and artists with a simple brief to create art from data - the source of which was entirely up to the creators.

The BBC's Dave Lee met some of those behind the most interesting projects.
