Electric super car in land speed record challenge

A British-designed and built electric super car with a theoretical top speed of 200mph (320kph) will attempt to break the UK electric car land speed record on Thursday.

The battery-powered Nemesis is challenging the current 137mph record set by the grandson of Sir Malcolm Campbell, Don Wales, in 2000.

John Maguire reports.
