Hotmail to be rebranded Outlook
Microsoft is to overhaul its free webmail service, Hotmail, renaming it Outlook.
The revamped service will help sort messages as they arrive and allow users to make internet calls on Skype.
Industry experts suggest the move is designed to win over users of Google's rival Gmail service.
5 live's Up All Night asked technology writer Larry Magid from the CNET website for his assessment of the rebranding.
