How Google 'removes' content from its search engine

Google's legal director Daphne Keller has explained how the firm is able to stop people from discovering contentious material using its search engine.

She was asked to explain the process during her appearance at the Leveson Inquiry.

She said Google had a legal team to look at potential cases of breaches of UK defamation law.
