How growing meat in a petri dish may be the future

Professor Mark Post of Maastricht University discusses his efforts to grow meat from stem cells under laboratory conditions.

Speaking to the BBC, he said he hopes that eventually factory produced meats will become commonplace, reducing the negative environmental effects of rearing animals for food production.
