A tenth of UK Ebay activity is done on smartphones
UK consumers are leading the way in how people are using apps to buy items.
Steve Yankovich, the Vice President for online retailer Ebay told Radio 5 live Breakfast that around 10% of all activity in the UK is done on smartphones, a figure slightly higher than in the US.
The creators and distributors of smartphone apps are meeting in London on Tuesday at the Planet of the Apps event.
