Chile hosts solar car desert race and other tech news
Racers have gathered in the Atacama desert in Chile for Latin America's first rally for solar-powered vehicles.
The cars only notch up speeds of about 30mph (50km/h), but their owners are confident they can cover 660 miles (1060km) in three days.
