Star Trek squirrel: YouTube viral video meme experiment
What does it take to make a video an internet sensation that is re-edited for comic effect by the online community?
It's a question that Tech Know's LJ Rich thought she had found an answer to when she filmed a squirrel with an unusual talent.
The wild animal chirped like the communicator device on 1960s science fiction show Star Trek.
But once uploaded to YouTube, would the video go viral and be re-edited by fans, thus entering the genre of the internet video "meme"?
Rathergood video producer Joel Veitch added his expertise to get the ball rolling.
You can watch Joel Veitch at work on Click from Friday 23 September.
