3G mobile network reaches top of Everest

It seems you cannot escape from it all even on the top of the world.

Mountaineer Kenton Cool posted a message on the social networking site Twitter from Everest's summit and then called his wife, Jazz.

He made the call in the early hours of Friday morning, after his ninth ascent of the world's highest mountain.
