Windows runs on Arm's mobile phone chips
Microsoft has demonstrated its operating system running on chips normally used for mobile phones.
The move is significant because until now the company has been closely connected with Intel chips.
Microsoft's Mike Anguilo demonstrated Windows and other software running on motherboards with Arm chips at the software company's keynote address at the CES technology show in Las Vegas.
