Apple 1 computer auctioned at Christie's in London

One of the first personal computers has been sold for £110,000 ($174,000) at an auction at Christie's auction house in London.

The Apple 1 computer was one of 200 produced by Apple in 1976 and 1977.

After the auction Steve Wozniak, who designed and hand-built it, said the machine was an "important step" in the company's development.

Footage of the sale was recorded on mobile phone
