Europe's Rosetta spacecraft has made a rendezvous with a comet - after a 10-year chase.

The spacecraft went into orbit around the comet while it was hurtling through space, marking a landmark moment in space history.

It is hoped the mission could reveal more about the emergence of life on Earth.
