How ocean noise hampers whales
Research presented at the annual meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) suggests that ocean noise has doubled each decade over the past 30 years.
Dr Mark Baumgartner, of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, explains how this noise is making life difficult for whales.
