Help

European astronomers have discovered a planet with a similar mass to Earth in the nearest solar system to us.

It is located in the Alpha Centauri system, which is 4.4 light years away and scientists say it is a major step towards finding a "twin Earth".

BBC Radio 5 live's Chris Warburton spoke to Xavier Dumusque who is on the Exoplanet Team that made the discovery.
