Space shuttle Endeavour final miles delayed by trees

Help

The space shuttle Endeavour has been delayed during its two-day journey through the streets of Los Angeles by trees at the side of the thoroughfare.

The remarkable sight of a craft capable of reaching 17,000 miles an hour, inching its way along city streets has attracted tens of thousands of spectators.

Branches of a tree had to be cut down to allow the huge vehicle through.
