SpaceX launches commercial rocket

A commercial rocket has launched from Cape Canaveral.

SpaceX's Falcon 9 blasted off on Sunday from Florida, placing the cargo-laden Dragon capsule on a path to the International Space Station. It is Nasa's first privately run supply mission.

Dragon is scheduled to reach the orbiting space lab on Wednesday.
