Test drive for Nasa's Curiosity rover on Mars

Nasa's Curiosity rover, a sophisticated mobile science laboratory, has made its first test drive on Mars.

The robot landed on the Red Planet two weeks ago and turned its six wheels briefly to satisfy engineers that its locomotion system was in full working order.
