Solar storm: 'More to come'


The largest solar storm in five years has largely passed Earth, but adverse effects could still occur, experts say.

A series of eruptions on the Sun sent radiation and solar plasma hurtling towards Earth.

Space scientist Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock says matter coming off the sun is the size of the earth.

She says more are likely to occur as we approach the solar maximum in 2013.
