False widow spiders: Should we be worried?

Help

Imagine if you were out shopping and suddenly felt something biting your neck...

It happened to one man when the UK's most dangerous spider, the false widow, bit him 10 times, causing him to collapse and need hospital treatment. He is now fully recovered.

Experts say they have seen an increase in their numbers, but should we be worried?
