Christmas in space: ISS crew sends seasonal greeting

Help

Astronauts on board the International Space Station have recorded a Christmas message.

Commander Scott Kelly and flight engineers Cady Coleman and Paolo Nespoli sent a short message each, accompanied by a small Father Christmas doll and a tinsel-decked Christmas tree.

European Space Agency astronaut Paolo Nespoli also coached his crew mates to give seasonal greetings in Italian.
