Dagenham school stalwart dies

A former policeman who organised the annual reunion for a Dagenham school has died aged 65, according to the Barking and Dagenham Post.

Romford college wins grant

A Romford college will host state-of-the-art engineering facilities from September after it won a grant to open the Siemens Mechatronics Academy, reports the Romford Recorder.

Barking and Dagenham College has secured a £96,000 grant from education charity Edge Innovation to open the academy which will run specialist classes.
