Budget includes plans to axe weekly bin collections

Weekly household waste collections in Coventry could be reduced to fortnightly pickups if the council's latest money-saving measures are approved.
As it looks to cut £10.4m from the budget by 2020, charges for car-parking and cremations are also set to increase.
Labour's ruling group is proposing a 4.9% Council Tax increase - including a 3% levy to pay for adult social care.
The latest proposals contain fewer cutbacks than earlier drafts and council leaders say that while difficult decisions have been made, Coventry is in a more fortunate financial position than other councils in the West Midlands.
A final vote by all councillors on whether or not to accept the budget will take place later this month.
