Hull City Council to sell buildings housing small businesses

Hull City Council are planning to close and sell off some of their facilities used by small businesses. 

They're called managed workspace units and include places like the Danish Buildings, The Lowgate Centre, and Hull Microfirms Centre.  

In a statement, Hull City Council say they haven't given notice to tenants and don't know when they will sell. 

They added that they have written to all tenants about the potential sale and ask for anyone with concerns to contact their onsite teams.

Hull City Council issue warning over heroin use

Hull City Council have released a statement after the deaths of seven known drug users.

They say it's too early to establish a cause of death for the people who died but they remind heroin users that it's an "extremely dangerous drug" and using it "always has the potential to be fatal, regardless of the strength or contents of a particular batch."

They added that the number of drug-related deaths fluctuates and they encourage anyone who is going to use drugs to make sure they're not alone and to contact ReNew on: 0800 1615 700
