A woman who was seriously injured when a lorry shed a load of timber building supplies in Herefordshire has died.
It follows the death of a man, aged in his 20s, in the incident as the pair walked along Belmont Road, Hereford, on Monday morning.
The heavy goods vehicle shed its load close to the railway bridge.
Police said the driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and released on police bail while the investigation continued.
The woman, also in her 20s, was taken by air ambulance to Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital in a critical condition, but she died on Monday evening.
