Now that spring has finally arrived, New York is in full bloom.
For Bella Meyer - one of the city's leading floral designers - the abundance of fresh flowers is a seasonal gift, enhancing her sought after bouquets and botanical installations.
French-born Meyer moved to New York from Paris in the early 1980s, shortly after completing a PhD in art history at the Sorbonne, and quickly immersed herself in the city's art scene.
The granddaughter of the celebrated modernist painter Marc Chagall, Meyer grew up surrounded by her grandfather's works, many of which featured flowers.
