Meet the collaborators: Shakti Mohan

Shakti Mohan is a huge star in India, having won a nationwide television talent show in 2010. She has trained in traditional and contemporary Indian dance, and is also influenced by Western culture and performance techniques.

For the BBC's Collaboration Culture project, she has been partnered with Mohammed Fairouz, an Arab-American composer from New York.
