Toronto counts costs of hosting Pan Am Games in 2015
The London Olympics are just weeks away - but there is another city busy preparing for its own Summer Games.
Toronto will host the Pan American Games in three years. Some 10,000 athletes from 41 western hemisphere countries will attend.
It will be the biggest sporting event Canada has ever hosted - twice the size of Vancouver's Winter Olympics.
In both London and Toronto, there's a similar debate: Is hosting a major sporting event a blessing or a curse?
Jason Margolis of PRI's The World reports from Toronto. You can hear his full radio report here.
