Adventurers ready for round-the-world trip in 800 days

Emma Smart, a biologist from Weymouth and her partner Andy Smith are about to embark on an 800 day overland trip around the world, in an 18-year-old 4x4.

After 18 months of hard saving and sacrificing their social lives, the couple are finally ready to set off on the ultimate adventure.

However, money is tight and their route takes them through parts of the world some people would consider dangerous.

So how do you plan and pack for an 800-day trip? And what is their inspiration for giving up their jobs and 9-5 lives?
