A Tuesday recall election of anti-union Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker is the latest battle in the national showdown in a between organised labour and its conservative foes.

In the latest of our series on Levittown, Pennsylvania, we look at how a teachers' strike shows animosity toward public employees has laid bare the tensions in America's long economic downturn.
