Mobile phone applications built to save lives

Mobile phone applications that help dispatch emergency responders are being developed in the US, allowing their users to receive more immediate care.

These applications employ the use of GPS technology to pin down the location of those in need of care and are capable of calling for helicopters and finding individuals who know CPR.
