Tomorrow's weather

Gillian Smart

BBC Scotland Weather Presenter

It'll be a dry, bright start for Central and Northern Scotland with some early sunshine. However, some heavy rain in the South will sweep across most parts during the day, possibly causing some localised flooding.

However, the North Highlands as well as the Northern and Western Isles should remain mainly dry.

Temperatures will reach 19C at best in the far North with the rest of Scotland closer to 16C through the cloud and rain.

After the race, he said: "I can't believe she (the Times journalist) actually said that.

"You know me, first of all I would never have used that word, if I was going to say it.

"But for me, you know I love competing. I'm here because of the fans and because I want to be in the Commonwealth and I'm enjoying it. It's been good. People have been so nice, I would never say something like that."

Easy. Bolt hardly gets out of second gear as he leads Jamaica to a win in their 4x100m heat.
