The Red Arrows weren't the only ones showing off their flight skills at this year's Farnborough Air Show in Hampshire, UK this week. D Eklund sent us his picture of these geese doing their own fly past!

In the middle of a heatwave with temperatures reaching 32.3C (90F) across the UK this week, there were storms that produced spectacular lightning displays. Stuart Edwards sent us his picture of from Cobham in Surrey.

On Tuesday evening a hot air balloon made an emergency landing in Amersham in Buckinghamshire, UK on a village green. Nobody was hurt, as the pilot managed to avoid trees and rooftops when landing. Paul Devine sent us this picture of local people helping to bring it down safely.

The largest gathering of its kind in Europe, the Tewkesbury Medieval Festival attracts visitors to both watch and take part in its famous medieval re-enactment each year. Rob Wilson sent us his picture of the battlefield.

On Saturday thousands of people marched through London, UK, from Whitehall to the Israeli embassy is Knightsbridge, calling for an end to Israeli military action in Gaza. Natasha Notara was one of those who joined the protest and sent us her picture of the march.

And finally, Tom White from Nebraska, US, became popular on social media when he posted a picture of himself with former Beatle, Sir Paul McCartney and businessman, Warren Buffett sitting on a bench in the background. The moment was captured by his friend Jacob Murray.
