Readers' photos on the theme of "gardening".
Each week, we publish a gallery of readers' pictures on a set theme. This week it is "gardening", and we begin with this picture by Chris Browett who described this as, "Our little piece of England."
Gosia Sousa: "Accidents in the garden happen to all of us, they still make interesting photo objects."
Ela Fraczkowska: "This picture is very precious to me as it shows my 83-year-old grandmother. It was taken only last week in her garden when I visited her in Poland. She loves gardening and does it every day, despite her poor health, and still refuses to use her gardening glove."
Lauren Burrows: "My mother taking a break from viewing the beautiful garden at Lismore Castle, County Waterford, Ireland."
Nigel Barnes: "Making work in my small garden even easier with three of me."
Thomas Murphy: "Getting the kids to help with gardening is easier when they know a bonfire is the result."
Doris Enders: "In some areas this is indispensible for successful gardening."
Katrina Laydon-Walters: "Finding the wheelbarrow. This seems to capture late spring in the garden."
Barbora Malikova sent this photograph of her family's 100-year old garden which was established by her great-great-grandfather in 1910 in what she describes as the "Czech Paradise region of Eastern Bohemia".
David Kean: "Watering the onions."
David Reid: "An all-but abandoned garden fork in the nether regions of the garden, used annually to turn the ground before the planting of raspberries, then left where it stands until next season."
And finally, a photograph by Samm Fisher entitled, Forget Me Not. The next theme is "old technology" and the deadline for your entries is 10 June.
