A photograph of a swimming pool designed by Alain Capeilleres, Le Brusc, Provence, France, taken in 1976 by the Belgian photographer Martine Franck who has died of cancer, aged 74. A member of the Magnum Photos since 1980, Franck made portraits of artists and writers, but her main focus was humanitarian reportage. She founded with Henri Cartier-Bresson, her husband, the Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson in Paris and became its President in 2004.
