BBC News website readers have been sharing their photos of flooding across parts of the UK. A vehicle is abandoned at the junction of Roman Way and Archenfield Road, in Ross-on-Wye. Steve Richmond, who took the photo, said: "I couldn’t get to work this morning. Some cars had to be pulled out of the water by a tractor."
Rowan Stringer, who was travelling to school in this minibus in Norfolk, said: "The driver said the water looked as if it was about a foot deep. But then we got stuck. It wasn’t a foot - it was more like three feet. We were in the van for about 30 minutes before the fire brigade arrived."
Ben Knapp saw the flood waters rise in Ockbrook, Derby.
