Ebola: Experimental drug 'poses safety and ethics questions'

The Ebola outbreak could be declared a global emergency at a World Health Organisation emergency meeting taking place in Geneva.

Delegates are deciding whether Ebola now poses an international threat.

The World Health Organisation has said they will explore the possibility of using experimental drugs to treat the virus.

Tarik Jasarevic from the World Health Organisation told the BBC that an experimental drug had been used, but its wider use posed ethical and safety questions.
