Five a day: 'Have fruit or vegetables with every meal'

People should try and eat fruit or vegetables with every meal to ensure they consume the recommended amount of five portions a day, dietician Ursula Philpot has advised.

Her comments came as new research was released which supported the idea that people should eat five portions of fruit and vegetables each day, but suggested that consuming more had no additional benefits.
