Home care crisis: Reduced budgets stretching providers

The home care system in the UK is under increasing pressure due to a combination of budget cuts and a growing number of people requiring care.

The BBC understands that a number of providers have turned down contracts from councils for financial reasons as working conditions for home carers continue to deteriorate.
