Leg bones used to replace spine in life-saving surgery
A girl has had pioneering surgery in which bone from her lower leg was used to replace five missing vertebrae in her spine.
Rosie would have died because of the unsupported weight of her upper body, but following surgery she is making a remarkable recovery.
