Medical experts warn over whooping cough outbreak
Child health experts have said an extra dose of whooping cough vaccine may be needed following the biggest outbreak of the disease in 20 years.
There have been almost nine times as many cases of the disease in the UK this year compared with 2011.
Most of those affected are adults and teenagers but newborn babies are most at risk.
Five babies have died as a result of the outbreak.
Fergus Walsh reports.
