Charity says cancer carers could be missing vital support

More than a million people in the UK who care for someone with cancer are potentially missing out on vital support and benefits, according to the charity Macmillan Cancer Support.

Their research suggests most of them have not had a carers' assessment from their local authority, to see what extra help they are entitled to.
