NHS trusts 'delaying operations' to cut waiting lists
Some NHS trusts in England are delaying operations in the hope patients may choose to go for private treatment instead, according to a health watchdog.
The Co-operation and Competition Panel report said some trusts are setting minimum waiting times of 15 weeks in an effort to save money.
