Nude photo iCloud hack angers celebrities

3 September 2014 Last updated at 13:21 BST

Apple has confirmed that some celebrities' iCloud accounts were hacked into, but insisted there was no evidence that this was caused by a breach of its security systems.

Earlier this week several intimate photographs of well known personalities were published online.

Copies of the images spread to other services, including Reddit, Imgur and Twitter, from which they were subsequently deleted by administrators.

Jessie J, Dan Stevens and Jamie Dornan, who were not among those targeted, spoke to BBC News about the incident.
