'Oldest' model on staying young

4 September 2014 Last updated at 00:02 BST

Model Carmen Dell'Orefice is opening an exhibition of works by the late fashion photographer Horst P Horst.

Now 83, Carmen first met Horst in 1946 when she was 15 years old and soon became one of his muses.

The product of that working relationship can be seen as part of a retrospective exhibition of Horst's work which is opening at the V&A museum in London.

The collection of over 250 photographs ranges from the Vogue covers he shot to photographs he took from a trip to the Middle East.

Carmen spoke to BBC News about her collaborations with him and why he made her the woman she is today.

Horst: Photographer of Style runs from 6 September 2014 - 4 January 2015 at the V&A.
