End of the road for The Inbetweeners

5 August 2014 Last updated at 18:12 BST

The Inbetweeners first appeared on television screens as a group of teenagers dealing with the usual problems of embarrassing parents and unsuccessful attempts to get a girlfriend.

The boys are now back in a new film, and although they have left school, they are finding many of the same old issues difficult to shake off.

The first film was released in 2011 and set a record for the most successful opening weekend achieved by a comedy film in the UK.

Simon Bird, James Buckley, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison joined BBC Breakfast to talk about The Inbetweeners 2 and why this is the last instalment for the quartet.
